Today is my first day back to work after a three-day weekend. These are always the hardest for me because my body always seems to want that one extra day to recover from the holiday. However, I’m rolling back into an orientation and what’s looking to be an extremely busy week. So how I step into today has the potential of either making or breaking the week for me.
I think it’s the same for everyone. Whether it’s a Monday, a Tuesday after the holiday or the first back to a daily routine after some sort of break, how we go into the day has the potential of setting the tone for the rest of the week. So it’s a choice for all of us whether we feel like it or not. The day may not present itself to be a great day at first but in reality it could just be our perception of it that we’re seeing. If you go beyond that, you may see a day of growth, a day of blessings, a day of achieving the goals you have set, a day of accomplishing new things and much, much more.
Until next time, do you what you can, where you are, with what you have to make this day the best day for you. Today is all you have. Yesterday is gone and tomorrow hasn’t come. Enjoy today and may it strengthen you, empower you, and shape you into a better version of you in the future.
