♪♫Love and marriage, love and marriage. Go together like a horse and carriage. This, I tell ya brother, you can’t have one without the other.♫♪

This week’s Funny Friday is all about Love and Marriage. Say and believe what you want about love and marriage but one thing’s for sure, there are certain aspects of it that can be down right funny. After being married for more than a decade, we’ve experienced (at the very least) conversations about many of the topics of these cartoons. In the end, we have found that humor can lighten the heaviest of feelings and topics between us. Besides having and utilizing my personal rule of not being mad for longer than ten minutes, humor has long since been a way to show my husband that I’m in a better, more approachable mood than I was before which helps the communication between us return to a more positive flow.

If there is nothing else about this Funny Friday that I’d like to share, you must know this: humor strengthens relationships as long as each person is willing to use it as a way to deescalate the mood of the moment. Even thinking about something funny that happened between the both of you may even help to rekindle a passion while lightening the mood.

Without further or due, I present Funny Friday – Love and Marriage edition!
