I need a new workout playlist. Something that really gets the blood pumping but isn’t too pop-ish. Something that really gets me lost in my workout or dancing – whichever comes first but doesn’t produce a long lasting effect to where it takes forever to recover because I’m so hype. I like fast pace or a building to a fast pace song. It’s funny because that fast pace can be anything from a “Dirty South” rap song or Fleetwood Mac’s song “Go Your Own Way”. Gotta admit the guitar rifts of that song really gets me going. I had messed around and did the most on an elliptical one day listening to all of the songs on my current playlist. I should have stopped earlier but listening to Sonique’s “It Feels So Good” makes you keep going past that point. I should have played them the next day too so that my legs could have the motivation to work better.
So with this round of working out, I’m gradually getting back into the swing of things after a few months of not being able to work out. So what are some catchy, medium pace (not quite slow but definitely slower than some bass dropping trap music rap tunes) do you listen to when you work out?
